Tasting Notes from Celtic Whiskey Shop and Wines on the Green | |
Nose | Lovely balance. Clean, fresh, with remarkable fruitiness. Juicy sweet sultanas, dates and marrons glacés centrally positioned around a bitter chocolate heart. |
Palate | Initial profile of freshly roasted coffee beans and a treacle tart character. This is succeeded with baked apples smothered with brown sugar. Brilliant structure with no dominant force but with plenty of depth and length. |
Colour | Dense antique mahogany with a cherry wood influence. |
